Bio: With over 25 years of experience in business development, process improvement, and teambuilding, Erika is a Principal at Butler Street, a leading management consulting and training firm that helps clients grow revenue, client loyalty, and talent retention. She leverages her expertise in sales and operational excellence, market analysis, and strategic partnerships to deliver customized solutions that enhance performance and profitability for a diverse range of clients. As a former Director of Business Development at several nationally recognized companies, she has a proven track record of expanding business interests in public and private sector markets, especially in the healthcare industry. Erika successfully provides consultation on regulatory changes, identified key market opportunities, established market presence, and revived brand awareness for multiple lines of business. Her mission is to champion system and process efficiency in sales and operations, and to help organizations crush their strategic objectives.

Jean Cook
Bio: Jean is currently serving as a leader of the Integration Management Office (IMO) for the merger of TNAA and TotalMed. The IMO is responsible for the successful and timely integration of the two companies. Jean joined TNAA in 2016 as CFO and became COO in 2019. As COO, Jean provided strategic oversight and direction for: HR, Credentialing, Contract Administration, Housing, Traveler Compensation/Pricing Policy and Legal/Risk. Jean also coordinated the company’s strategic planning efforts. Jean has been in the business world for more than40 yearswith30 of those years in executive leadership roles. She has experience across multiple disciplines, industries, and company sizes. Jean has been a member of the Board of Directors of NATHO since 2022, serving as President, Vice-President and Treasurer. She is a regular speaker at conferences and enjoys sharing knowledge almost as much as gaining knowledge.

Dwight Cooper
Bio: Dwight founded PPR Talent Management Group in 1996 with a $10Kinvestment,growing it to over $100M in annual revenue before selling a majority interest to private equity in 2016.At exit, Dwight spun off and continued to lead Hueman People Solutions, an HR BPO business. In December of 2022Dwight sold a majority stake in Hueman to Shore Capital Partners and now serves as Executive Chairman, leading its M&A strategy. His people-first approach has earned national recognition from Gallup and the Great Place to Work Institute (GPTWI). Dwight’s companies have been celebrated by GPTWI 16 times, and PPR was named the best small or medium business to work for in America in 2013. Gallup has also recognized Hueman and PPR among the world's 39 most engaged workforces on four occasions. Dwight is an active board member for several private equity-backed companies, including Hueman People Solutions, Canopy Services, Family First Homecare, and Growth Orthopedics. In addition, he chairs the University of North Florida’s Foundation Board

Crystal Fullilove
Bio: Crystal Fullilove is a senior healthcare staffing analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). Her research coverage includes all aspects of healthcare staffing and workforce solutions. Crystal graduated summa cum laude from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Human Resource Management. Prior to joining SIA, Crystal worked in human resources and healthcare staffing managing clinical traveler programs as well as managed service providers (MSPs) for large health systems across the United States.

Jay Gao
Bio: Jay Gao is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner focused on Investments and M&A for Left Lane, Trustbridge, and EY-Parthenon, with more than a decade of cross-functional experience across buyout, growth, M&A, debt and value creation. He has deployed over $790 million across LMM-MM buyouts, roll-ups and structured equity with DPI in relevant sectors. Jay has served as a board advisor on M&A and capitol strategy. Additionally, he was the former M&A advisor across integrations, change management, cost reduction and GTM. His sector experience spans tech-enabled business services, staffing, supply chain, real estate, and financial services across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Shane Jackson

Shane serves on the boards of 3DE and King’s Ridge Christian School and is vice chair of the leader-led goBeyondProfit business initiative that promotes the belief that giving back is good for business. He earned an MBA from Emory University and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Harding University.

Claudia Joly
Bio: Claudia Joly fulfills the role of Senior Director of Legal Compliance & Regulatory Services at AMN Healthcare. She has been a part of AMN Healthcare for 9 years supporting and leading a combination of compliance, regulatory, ethics, and audit functions across the national scope of the enterprise. Her career path includes a mixture of private and senior public sector roles. Her roles have consistently involved leadership of compliance, legislative, regulatory, systemic review, investigation, integrity stewardship, and cross functional initiatives. She is HCCA certified in HealthCare Compliance and holds a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Social Work. She currently serves on two national scope legislative, regulatory and government affairs committees. She is in her second year serving as the Chairperson for the NATHO Government, Compliance &Regulatory Affairs Committee and third year as an active member of the ASA Legal and Legislative Committee. She is enthusiastic about compliance, ethics, legislative, regulatory, government affairs, and supports effective working relationships between private sector, community, and government. Claudia values the synergy and collective wisdom industry roundtables and collaboration which elevates promising practices across systems and sectors, especially the private, public, and government sectors

Tom Lingle
Bio: Tom is a founding and managing partner at Oakmark Advisors, a merger and acquisition advisory firm deeply rooted in healthcare staffing.

Adam McDonald
Bio: Adam is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice focusing on deal advisory and strategy. He has over10 years of advisory experience working with healthcare payers and providers across the continuum of care. He has a strong background in utilizing data and analytics to create actionable strategies to achieve growth and sustainability as well as to support buy-side and sell-side diligence and transaction efforts. Within performance improvement, Adam has worked closely with provider groups and health systems on productivity, ambulatory care strategies, managed care rate strategy, and value-based care initiatives. Adam’s current and past clients include some leading providers of all sizes across the country. Adam led multiple assessments for risk-bearing provider organizations utilizing longitudinal claims analysis to evaluate care management and risk adjustment performance across cohorts of patients based on age, chronic condition prevalence, and geography. He managed a confidential process for two Fortune 100 healthcare companies to evaluate partnership opportunities and quantify the financial impact for both organizations across six value levers. Adam developed a cardiology market entry strategy for a private equity client using claims data, market demographics, and payor enrollment data to identify attractive markets. He co-authored a thought leadership publication analyzing claims data to demonstrate the transition to telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent shift as cases subsided and in-person care resumed. Adam led commercial due diligence across a range of healthcare and life sciences sectors, including eye surgery, women’s health, home health, behavioral health, medical devices, and pharmacy. He also led operational due diligence evaluating key deal thesis areas such as revenue cycle management assessment, rate parity analysis, clinic-level productivity and profitability, practice management technology evaluation, and back-office cost optimization. Adam created a physician development strategic plan for one of the largest health systems and provider networks in Chicago, including geography- and specialty-specific portfolio recommendations. He managed a project team supporting a strategic pricing engagement to ensure price transparency compliance with new CMS regulations for a ten-hospital system in the Washington, DC metro market, including rate benchmarking, file development, and communication planning. Adam developed a service line organizational structure, operating model, and analytics toolkit for monitoring and tracking performance against targets for one of the ten largest health systems in the United States. He facilitated more than five enterprise-wide strategic planning engagements for leading healthcare providers nationwide. Adam developed analytics to identify significant variances in cost of care by provider and created standardization plans to generate savings for a leading regional health system in Florida. He managed an affiliation assessment for three large Midwest health system providers to identify potential cost synergies and develop growth scenarios for how a combined organization could reshape the regional healthcare landscape and reduce overall cost of care. Adam also led a partnership assessment for two rural hospitals planning to merge and convert to a private tax-exempt structure, helping determine potential combination opportunities and facilitating a go/no-go decision.

Joseph Smith
Bio: Joseph double majored in Respiratory Therapy and Accounting and then worked as a travel Respiratory Therapist in the 1990s. While traveling, he began preparing co-worker tax returns and eventually founded TravelTax in 2001. Later in 2007, he helped start the Travelers Conference (TravCon).Joseph and his staff prepare over 4000 tax returns annually for multistate, cross border and international mobile professionals. Joseph represents clients in tax controversies in both the US and Canada. He has written briefs for the 9th Circuit and SCOTUS and been an expert witness before the NY Supreme Court in staffing related tax matters. He is frequently published and provides tax compliance services for staffing agency reimbursement policies and was an editor of the NATHO Tax Best Practices publication. Additionally he has taught taxation as an adjunct professor. He is an Enrolled Agent and in addition to his undergraduate degrees, Joseph holds a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Masters in Bible, linguistics concentration from Lancaster Bible College.

Nancy Sotomayor
Bio: Nancy Sotomayor is a litigator and advisor focused primarily on the staffing industry. She represents employers in complex litigation matters involving class actions, FLSA collectives, and PAGA lawsuits. Nancy regularly advises clients on compliance with wage and hour law, as well as other related laws. Nancy combines her knowledge of the staffing industry with her expertise in legal compliance to advise the staffing industry on how to efficiently and effectively comply with the law and reduce potential liability. Among her notable results is the enforcement of a venue selection clause in over 20individually filed arbitrations against a healthcare staffing company requiring the claimants to arbitrate in the healthcare staffing company's principal place of business. Whether litigating or advising clients, Nancy uses her expertise and strategic thinking to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients.

Chris Sund
Bio: Chris Sund is President and COO of Uniti Med and GQR Healthcare, where he leads both healthcare staffing companies supporting facilities across the country through travel staffing, locum tenens, MSP solutions, and Nebula, an AI-powered talent recruitment platform. With a decade of experience in healthcare staffing and executive leadership, Chris is known for scaling teams, building strong cultures, and driving sustainable growth in people-driven organizations. He is a frequent speaker at healthcare conferences, sharing real-world insights on leadership, recruitment, and competing for talent in highly competitive markets. Chris also serves on the Board of Directors for NATHO and on the Membership and Marketing team for NAHCR.
